Bourbon to the Rescue

Hendersonville, NC - Blue Ridge Humane Society invites you to Bourbon to the Rescue, a curated event to benefit the purchase of a Veterinary Mobile Unit and presented by Hunter Subaru and We Sell WNC. Once purchased, a Veterinary Mobile Unit will help provide more spay and neuter surgeries for animals living in Henderson County.
Bourbon to the Rescue is being held at The 2nd Act at 101 E Allen St Suite 101, Hendersonville, NC 28792, and the event will begin on Tuesday, August 23rd at 6:30 pm. For your ticket of $150, you will receive a bourbon-tasting flight in unique take-home bourbon glasses, heavy vegetarian hors d’oeuvres from Matthew Watkins of American Refinery, and chocolates from Van’s Chocolates. For those who are interested, cigars from Casablanca Tobacconist will be available. (Only outside smoking is permitted). Two Trees Distilling Company will also be onsite with take-home giveaways for attendees. There will be a 50/50 raffle, live and silent auctions, and more during the event to benefit the animals in our community.

The Blue Ridge Humane Society, Inc., is a 501(c)3 animal welfare organization started in 1950 and dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of life for animals in Henderson County and our neighboring communities. BRHS cares for pets awaiting adoption at the Adoption Center; offers low-cost vaccine clinics, animal education programs, pet training classes, and youth education and projects; coordinates community pet food assistance, emergency vet assistance, and the Spay Neuter Incentive Program (SNIP), which is a collaboration with Henderson County, the City of Hendersonville, and the Henderson County Animal Services Center.
